Although the beloved family drama, Little House on the Prairie, ran its course in March 1983, producer/star Michael Landon was convinced by popular demand to participate in three additional TV movies.

Look Back to Yesterday - Aired on December 12, 1983 Charles Ingalls pays a return visit to Walnut Grove. During his stay, he learns to his horror that his son Albert, a doctor in training, has contracted a blood disease that is nearly always fatal. The other citizens have problems of their own – namely, an economic recession that threatens to destroy the community.

Bless All the Dear Children - Aired on December 17, 1984 In this story, Laura and her husband Almanzo's baby, Rose, is kidnapped during the Christmas holiday season. The family searches for their baby to discover that she was stolen by a woman who was longing to have a child of her own. They try to help the woman find a needy child at an orphanage.

The Last Farewell - Aired on February 6, 1984 This final adventure of the Ingalls family finds their hometown of Walnut Grove being purchased by an evil miner. Rather than allowing themselves to be thrown off their land, Pa and Ma Ingalls, in concert with the rest of the townsfolk, take up arms against a sea of troubles. But when ordered by law to evacuate the premises, the Walnut Grove residents exact a more spectacular method of getting even with the miner.
